Minneapolis Post. and our television stations (“Stations”) respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you, how we use it, as well as how we share it. This Privacy Policy is available on all of our Station websites, mobile apps, social networking presences on Facebook and other platforms. We also provide a link to it on other online services we provide and manage (“Services”). You agree to the Privacy Policy when you use our Services. This Privacy Policy does NOT apply to services offered to you by third parties or companies, even if Minneapolis Post is associated with a product or site linked to our Services. We may share your location information with third-parties who have contracted with us to perform the location-based services of our Services. Cookies and Similar Technologies; We Do Not Track A “cookie” (a small text file that is stored on your device) helps us recognize repeat visitors, personalize our experience, deliver Services efficiently and monitor how our Services use. It also allows us to deliver customized advertising and other purposes. Web beacons are also known by the names “web bugs”, pixel tags, and clear GIFs. These transparent graphic images are small and can be placed on a website or in an email. They are used to track the activity of users who visit that page or email. With Minneapolis Post affiliates, for business, operational and promotional purposes;
Advertisers will accept you if you take part in a co-branded or co-sponsored contest, contest, or other Service.

Advertising and personalized content Advertising is essential to our provision of low-cost and free services to you. Your personal information may be shared with advertisers, advertising networks, and other third parties for direct marketing or promotional purposes. Minneapolis Post, its Stations, advertisers, certain outside networks advertising services, as well as third-parties, may place cookies, web beacons, or other similar technology on your device in order to personalize your experience, collect information regarding your preferences, collect information about where you are located, and/or deliver personalized advertising content. Advertisers and third-party companies involved in the delivery and distribution of ads may give you the opportunity to control what information is collected, used and shared about you. California “Shine the Light Act” You may be able to request information about how we share your personal data with our affiliates and third parties such as our advertisers if you are a California resident. Minneapolis Post cannot provide information on how companies other than Minneapolis Post might use and disclose your information.
Safeguarding Children’s Privacy. We don’t knowingly collect personal data online from children younger than 13 years old. We will delete any personal information that we find online from children under 13 years of age or remove any identifying information.
Accessing Account Information Some Minneapolis Post Stations and Services allow you to create an account and change your account information. These functions may be available if you are able to view your user profile, as well as any related information, and can request changes. We will honor your request to change your account’s personal information, but there are some limitations. We will keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary to provide the Services. This is also required by applicable laws or corporate policies. We may not make changes to account information in all copies or backups we have, or if it is too costly or burdensome. If we suspect that the identity or authority behind the requester is not clear, we may deny access to or change account information.
Information Security We take measures to ensure the security of any information you give us. However, transmissions over the Internet can be vulnerable and no security system is perfect. Be careful when sharing personal information.

Location Information: Before we collect precise, real-time or network location information, we will ask you for permission. You can choose to allow or deny the collection of this information. You can also withdraw your consent to this location information at any moment by turning off the location-based feature of your mobile device or opting out from using any location-based features. You may lose the ability to use precise, real-time or network location information if you withdraw your consent.
Other Websites and Platforms. If you use any of our links to third-parties you will be leaving our Services to go to a new site. Even if Minneapolis Post has a relationship with a third party, our Privacy Policy does NOT apply to services offered to you by companies or individuals. Minneapolis Post and our Stations are not responsible for the privacy policies or business practices that third parties we do not own or control. You can opt-out of any sales. You can opt out of any sale of your Personal Information. If you ask us not to sell your Personal Information we will consider it a request under California’s “Shine the Light” law to stop sharing your personal data with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
Opt-in. If we learn that you are under 16 years of age, we will ask you for your consent (or, if you’re younger than 13, your parent’s/guardian’s permission). We will not sell your Personal Information unless you have your permission.

This includes actions such as denial of services, increasing the price/rate for services; decreasing quality of service; or suggesting that you may be penalized as described above.
How to exercise your privacy rights in California
You have the right to opt out of the “sale” of your Personal Information. We use services to deliver interest-based ads to our customers, just like many other companies. California law defines our use of these services to be a “sale of your Personal Information” to the companies providing them. If you don’t provide enough detail to enable us to understand and respond, we cannot process your request. To process your information, access or delete requests, we will need to verify your identity. We also reserve the right to verify your California residency. We may ask you to log in to your account (if applicable), to provide government identification, to give a declaration regarding your identity under penalty for perjury, and/or to provide additional information. After we verify the identity of the agent and receive a copy of the valid power of attorney that was given to your agent pursuant to California Probate Code Sections 402-4655, your authorized agent may request information on your behalf. If you have not given your agent such a power, you must give your agent written permission to exercise your CCPA rights. We will also need the information we require to verify your identity. Finally, we will need to confirm that you have given permission for the authorized agent to submit the request.
